Our History
Kharian Cantonment is located on the GT road
at a distance of 125 km from capital city of Islamabad
and 145 km from Lahore.
The idea of a medical college in Kharian was initially conceived in 2007 and later on revived in yr 2015.
The project was approved / construction started in March 2016 adjacent to Combined Military Hospital Kharian. The primary aim of starting this College was to provide high quality Medical Education to our future doctors.

CBL Workshop by the
Department of
Medical Education
The Department of Medical Education at CKMC conducted an insightful workshop on Case-Based Learning (CBL), on 7th March 2024, facilitated by Dr. Amaidah Mir (Assistant Professor Anatomy) and Dr. Urfa Zaryab Mir (Assistant Professor Biochemistry) equipping faculty with innovative teaching strategies. The session focused on enhancing critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and student engagement, reinforcing CKMC’s commitment to modern medical education methodologies.
